first day of the new semester...

to sum it all up...

it was a bore...

we get to see the same teacher 3 times in a day [2 labs and 1 tutorial]

we have the same lecturer from last semester teaching us Business Environment

we have a lecturer who have a sore throat and yet taught us for 1.5 hours




tomorrow even worse...

start with Database Management Systems lecture at noon...

followed by tomorrow's highlights... [1 hour per hop]

Wednesday... i think i'll leave it to tomorrow if i have enough energy to on my computer...

decided to buy a 20/40GB just for the sake of our semester[semesters?]-long project that need the following to be installed...

• Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003


• Microsoft Excel


• Microsoft Access

lazy to upgrade my current XP Home to XP Pro because of a certain unpleasant experience when using XP Pro back then... and once the project is over... i can make use of the additional hard disk to install Linux OS and try out several things...

School starting soon... in 11 hours time...

i think i'll sleep...

been rushing my PS2 games for old time sake...

completed Chaos Legion using GameShark code... completed the game once... but now lazy to gain experience for all my legion crests especially the ultimate crest...

as of now... i'm playing dotHack// Part I Infection... also using GameShark code...

don't call me a cheater... my previous data before getting wipe out by my format a few days ago... was at dotHack// Part III Outbreak... trying to get there A.S.A.P.

after completing dotHack [Part I to Part IV] maybe i will be playing the Genso Suikoden Series... because i have never completed them once... [as in getting everything...]

planning to buy/upgrade within the remainder of the year...

decided to dump the hard disk upgrade for a DVD-??? burner... 'cause i find it more worthwhile to burn my data and video on DVD... than storing it on a hard disk... and i can burn my video and watch on a DVD player [example: my playstation2... LOLZ] instead of switching on my PC which drains a lot of electricity...

internet broadband speed i think i'm not happy with my current BitTorrent download speed... which range from 5 ~ 55KB/S on 512Kbps ADSL broadband connection using BitComet but at least its speed is more uniform than cable broadband's although at a reduced speed and being more expensive than cable broadband... [speed / price]

school starting soon... guess i'll have more things to write about... hopefully

- sort of 'recharged' my energy in preparation for the next semester ???

- formatted my Playstation2 memory card
- tweaking my unreliable windows xp since it was causing me trouble all over the system

and finally...

- MORE HEADACHES !!!!!!

wanted to play roseon a while ago but the servers are full... and since i'm using my bandwidth to its full capacity... i can't play shatteredgalaxy without getting 3 OOS [out of sync]

for my internet connection... i have to wait until august when my contract with pacnet dsl 512kbps ends...

the upgrade is either...

- pacnet dsl 1500kbps
or
- pacnet cable 6500kbps
or not...

same goes for the extra storage space... planning to get 160~250GB... or so i think... i don't think i'll be able to settle for anything less than that range...

oh... by the way...

i recently found some very old DOS games dating back to the early 90s... those games were quite good actually...

last time i played those games was almost 13 years ago while the main operating software was a very simple file management software called norton commander i think... don't ask me how i remembered all these time... maybe that game made a deep impression in my mind ???

internet sure is a big place...

sianz... really lack of a good anime to watch on tv... can only watch when i actually completed the download for the anime i want to watch...

started playing genso suikoden iv again... because i discovered something... [since it wasn't even mentioned on the guide book...] that speed up sea navigation by perhaps 300%...

here goes...

while at sea... you can actually speed up your vessel by pressing the [R1] button...

[or it's doesn't need a kid's brain to figure that out since [R1] button is also used for running when your characters are out on the field... my discovery must have been super-slow to those who have already discovered that earlier than me...]

anyways... got a average GPA of 3.287 compared to a semester earlier where i got 3.357 and this time round there's no distinctions...

anyways... been tweaking my biological clock back to normal since school is going to start in a few week's time...

[argh... i hate mosquito...]

been playing Shadow Hearts: Covenant and i found the game okay-okay... plot-wise it's alright... but like what i posted in one of the forums that I frequent... the battle system is quite repeative 'cept for a few judgement ring abnormality... like reverse ring... (to those who have played the game before... the rest... too bad... i don't feel like explaining things you never heard of or not interested in...)

i now... currently... don't feel like going out socializing or whatever you want to call it... i don't mind anyone calling me anti-social cause i have been that way since... i forgot...

anyways... sure don't feel like typing anymore... gotta have a good long night sleep after so many late nights during the holiday especially during our DBI0405's class chalet some 2 weeks ago...
