Random thoughts...

Some very random things from my head... since i got nothing to do and blog...

Silkroad Online
Still at level 14 (72%)

StarCraft: Brood War
Replaying as Protoss [and i hate Zerg Lurker for its burrow strike.]

WarCraft III: Frozen Throne
Replaying as Night Elves

DotA
'quit' for a few days but returned to the game... again. Training Treant Protector

Counter-Strike
still playing... saving $$$ to buy Counter-Strike: Source...

FIFA Soccer 2006
getting it soon... perhaps.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted
same as above... first impression... something like Need for Speed: Underground but with cops now...

Final Fantasy XII
still waiting... just release it already... japanese version... no problem... i can somehow 'decode' some words like... erm... Potion ? lolz.

Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus
same as above... Main character: Vincent Valentine... now that's something to look forward to... but i have a feeling that it will have some elements from Devil May Cry series...

Resident Evil 4
hope it's not a flop like Resident Evil: Outbreak (Offline Version)

IT Innovation Project [Ivan's our leader, same as always.]
still not very clear on this semester project specifications... proposal draft to be shown to Huang Shi Fu next Wednesday...

Sony Playstation 3
With XBox 360 out already... waiting for the final specification to be released before making a decision on which to purchase... but most probably i would get PlayStation 3 instead of XBox [yes i still dislike XBox to some extent...]

New Graphics Card for Desktop
"Inno3D GeForce4 MX440-SE is sooooooooo outdated."
Getting the nVidia GeForce4 FX series or even maybe the nVidia GeForce4 6600GT/7800GTX depending on budget and current motherboard specification. If 6600GT/7800GTX, changing the motherboard and PSU is a must. [Current motherboard only has a AGP 4x slot.]

New Battery for Laptop
3-cell battery, lasting 2-hour max. This ain't something worth to be happy about. But will set me back by about ~$200. Highly unlikely that i will get this.

Personal-wise... not interested to say it here... [or wait... maybe i can say it here since it's...]

Cold... or cool...

the weather that is...

it's switching between cold and cool nowadays and i caught a cold yesterday... so i didn't attend classes...

[and while at home... playing a little of SRO, trying to hunt Bandit Bowman for one of the quest.]

still in slacking mode now... don't really feel like going to school... and doing the tutorials...

since most of my tutors and lecturers have commented on my hair length... think i'll cut it this coming Saturday or Sunday... depending on weather, situation and mood.

nothing much to blog about... just that things have been constant for the past few weeks...

World Cyber Games

it just ended yesterday at Suntec Singapore...

lots of interesting matches yesterday particularly the FIFA Final between the Russian [x4Alexx] and the German [styla] which the German came back from behind 2-0 to win the 1st Game 5-4 and the second set 6-3

[comment... i thought i was good in FIFA 2002 to 2004... but seeing this game really make my skills sucks... never mind now... FIFA 2006... heehee]

backtrack to Day 2...

Counter-Strike: Source

Team Titan [Singapore] vs Maven_Crew [Korea]

most memorable is the Team Titan 14-unbeatun run... going from 3-0 down to 3-14 up...

but they lost to Team_EG next round...

there's a lot more interesting match for sure... but i was lazy to go down to Suntec to watch it live... so i watched it from the official website instead...

anyways...

class starting soon...

ciao.

Sorry

for the non-update...

had alot of things in mind so i forgot about blogging altogether...

anyways... school 'officially' started, with all those tutorials i had to attend and...

Introduction to Market Research - Tutorial in a lab, the Soccernet jokes aside, was rather 'normal'. With a computer staring at me, it's hard to concentrate in class... at all. However, the good lecturer happens to be our tutor. (and i seldomly rated my lecturers as good.)

Business Communication 3 - ZOMG!!!!1111 LOLZ!!!!1111 'nuff said

Operating System - Lecture was a big BORE, tutorial and lab was okay.

Software Engineering Practices - With Madam Huang our lecturer and Ivan obviously on a high seeing her, her lecture was by far equivalent to Naga Siren's Ultimate Ability. Haven't seen her for tutorial. 'Cause it's this Friday. Sure reminds me of Database Management System.

Mobile Application Development - Potentially the module that has the best lecturer and tutor overall.

XML Web Services - Lecture was super-duper-uber boring, much more than HuangShiFu! Tutorial didn't leave much of a impression.

IT Innovation Project - With HuangShiFu seeing us for 3 modules, and with some suggestions of how we can improve from her and the same project group member from the previous E-Commerce Project, this is another module that won't bore the h311 outta me.

anyways,

DotA !!!

(i'm beginning to like DotA again, after much time playing SilkRoad Online lately and going to bed earlier than usual. SRO, IMO, has better graphics and is free forever. But i've taken a liking to ROSEOn since i played it during its testing stage.)

Yay!

school officially starts today...

and we (ivan, ian, soonpoh, engsheng, tony,me,kelvin) skipped the only SIT lecture (XML) today and went to Seoul Garden...

[heh]

what a good way to start off yet another semester soon to be bogged down by the mad rush of projects...

=(

but nonetheless... this time... we've a Plan C !!!

=)

[don't ask about Plan A or Plan B or Plan C... truth is... you do not want to know... for sure.]

before i go off...
