Gran Turismo 4. (Yet Again)
My thoughts on that game after some days of rather intensive playing on my part minus the steering wheel (and the subwoofer).
Thoughts (based on drivetrain):
FF - Well, it's better compared to half a year ago.
Current Car:
Honda Integra Type-R
FR - I hate FR cars with Turbochargers. No idea.
Current Car:
Nissan Silvia Ks 2000cc
4WD - Best in straights. Very good in the corners too due to my rather un-honed style of racing in an electronic game.
Current Car:
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
MR - I'm stuck with a slow, lousy and has a current 133BHP mid-ship, rear-wheel drive car. (for now, since i smell a NSX not too far off.)
Current Car:
Toyota MR2 1600 G
Nope, it's not an advertisement to promote a game but, this game gives the thrills of driving in our sofas without worrying about G-Force when driving an actual car. And in my humble opinion since I've played:-
- Gran Turismo 1/2/3
- Need for Speed 2/3:HP/HS/PU/HP2/U/U2/MW
- Initial D Arcade/Special Stage
- Daytona USA 1/2
From a humble Toyota Corolla, a frightening Pagani Zonda of Gran Turismo World to, the legendary Lamborghini Countach/Diablo/MurciƩlago of the Need for Speed Series, to the insanely un-real Initial D and lastly the insanely "Win-by-powersliding-your-way-through-at-more-than-260khp" Daytona, I strongly feel that, (if you haven't own a set of PlayStation, get 1 now.) Gran Turismo is the best car-racing games of all times. Not even the underground-style street racing (which amuse me to no end when I force a police car to the wall) of the Need for Speed comes close.
But, if you ask me which game I'm very good at. I would say,
The Need for Speed Series. 100% no (and again, no) idea why.
Time check, it's 1.30am Friday now and to sign it off a

would do us no harm.
